

Glenn Schmelzle has been Principal of Marketing What’s New since founding it in 2009, out of a conviction that to generate leads today, it takes smart marketing, backed by solid technology tools.
Glenn has spent nearly 20 years using technology to market products and generate sales leads. He loves helping companies quench their thirst for leads and grow their revenue, by finding their ideal prospects and compelling them to contact sales. In the past, he has served B2B software firms as Director of Marketing and Sales. He has helped companies in industry verticals like technology, life sciences and eLearning as well as those selling to consumer markets.
Glenn began helping companies enter new markets right after completing his BA & MBA degrees, serving under contract with the US Department of Commerce. An early adopter, Glenn stays current with marketing technology by gaining recognized accreditations, such as Google AdWords certification.
He spreads his passion for lead generation and technology by speaking publicly and sharing strategies online. Glenn is active on the board of Sales Professionals of Ottawa and as a speaker at events surrounding sales & marketing. Glenn is also active with community not-for-profits in Ottawa.
